ABOUT THE JOURNAL

UJET- Uniabuja Journal of Engineering and Technology (ISSN 2714-3236 (ONLINE) ISSN 2714-3228 (PRINT)) is a biennial multidisciplinary journal. Its focus is on the publication of current scholarly manuscripts within the context of international best practices in all fields of engineering and technology. UJET is published by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Abuja, Nigeria.

The Scope

The journal encourages submissions of high quality, original manuscripts which have not been submitted elsewhere and covers the fields of aeronautical, agricultural, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, electronics, mechanical, materials, metallurgical engineering with their related sub-specialties. Well researched review articles on recent or current issues in the aforementioned fields are also welcome.

Manuscript Template

The journal receives manuscripts all-year round. Manuscripts should be written in English language and should not exceed 15 pages including References, typed in MS Word format in accordance with the template which can be downloaded from this site. Additional publication fee shall be charged on accepted manuscripts with pages in excess of the prescribed maximum of 15.

The paper should be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 250 words and a maximum of five keywords arranged in alphabetical sequence. The front page of the paper must contain the the title, name, email address and institutional affiliation of the author (s). References should be spelt out and listed in numerical order at the end of the manuscript using IEEE manual citation style.

Submission of Manuscript

65741157 Submission of manuscripts is made through the journal's online submission platform at www.ujet.ng. Authors are to kindly note that a non-refundable processing fee of N6,000, which covers plagiarism checks and administrative charges must be paid before papers can be uploaded to the UJET paper submission platform. Also, an article publication charge of N29,000 applies in the case of articles accepted for publication after the double-blind review process.

All payments must be made through the author's wallet which is automatically created when an author registers on the platform.
